The Father

John 5:19-20 NIV
¹⁹ Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. ²⁰ For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.

Jesus did nothing of his own will.  He always looked for where he saw His Father working and joined him in His work.  Because of the Fathers love for the Son, He showed Him all for our benefit.

Am I better than Jesus?  No way.  Therefore I will look and see where the Lord is working and join Him in that work.
