Psalm 9:1-2 NIV
1 I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
What struck me this morning was the phrase "all my heart". Even now as I write this my mind is racing with things to do that I don't want to forget and I'm convicted of my lack of full concentration. Even on Thanksgiving I did not give my entire heart to thanking God.
Need to take some time and thank God and I don't need a national holiday to do it.
