6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
How many times do I forget this very important lesson. I cannot EARN God's favor. I cannot EARN God's forgiveness. Christ died for me knowing that I was a sinner. There is no plan B with God. I never do something that surprises him.
In His perfect time he chose to die for me. Why do I ever chose anything but Him?
