Life Questions Originally posted on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 9:57am

Chrissie and I are doing a study called Moments Together for Couples by Dennis and Barbara Rainey. http://www.amazon.com/Moments-Together-Couples-Barbara-Rainey/dp/0830717544

Some mornings are weak and we're done in 5 minutes. Most mornings are fair and we talk a bit and pray together. There have been mornings of sensitive topics that have caused disagreement. There are moments where we think the authors are nuts and we laugh at the ideas given. All in all it's been a good experience because we're talking. Alone. And it's not about work or the kids.

Today's lesson blew me out of the water. Dennis asked a series of questions that REALLY got us thinking. I want to share them with you. Take some time to talk think about them and talk them over with your spouce. The single folks that read this, talk to a mentor or someone you trust.

What do I really believe?
Why am I doing what I'm doing?
What really has brought satifaction to my life?
What creates pressure for me and what does God want me to do about it?
How does my schedule reflect my ultimate values?
How will my present lifestyle affect my family in 20 years?
What does God want me to do with my life, my family and my possessions?
