God is my refuge.

What a day when God prepares not one, but messages for me. My devotional arrived and the passage was in Psalm 57. I'm only going to discuss verse 1

¹ Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me,
for in you I take refuge.
I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings
until the disaster has passed.

These words were written by King David. He was being pursued and his life was in danger. Yet he sought the Lord. And note that he would wait till the "disaster has passed".

I was thinking of giving up. I've been patient "long enough". Well looks like I need to be patient a bit longer. God you are in control. Thank you for the reminder...again.
